Policies

Appointments: 
All clients will be required to have a credit card on file in order to schedule an appointment at The Texture Room hair and body. This sensitive information will be encrypted after entry in our salon system software. Credit card encryption is a security measure used to reduce the likelihood of credit or debit card information being stolen. It makes it impossible to access the credit card information once it is entered, so you can rest assured it is safe in our system. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your appointment so you may check in and relax. Unfortunately, late arrivals cannot receive an extension of time and may be asked to reschedule. At The Texture Room hair and body, your services are personally reserved for you. We ask that you notify us no later than 24 hours prior if you should need to reschedule or cancel.

*Please note that if you arrive late for your appointment, it will end as scheduled

so as not to delay the next scheduled guest. 

Cancellations:

We kindly ask for a 24-hour notice prior to changing or cancelling your appointment. If you cancel with less than a 24 hour notice, then your credit card on file will be charged for 50% of the cost of the scheduled service(s). If you are 15 minutes or more late for any service, your appointment may have to be forfeited with a 50% service charge as well. 

As with most cancellation policies, there are exceptions. We understand that life may bring you hardships that are out of your control. Serious illness, a death in the family, school emergencies, etc. We only ask that you make your best effort to reach us as soon as possible so we can help you make the proper arrangements with your scheduled services with us.

Our amazing, hard-working service providers want to be available for your needs and the needs of all their guests. When a guest does not show up or cancels with no notice, another guest loses that opportunity to be seen. Your service provider also loses the opportunity to provide income for themselves and provide for their families.

*Please understand the reason for this policy is to respect our stylists' schedules.

Last minute openings are difficult to fill and result in a loss of revenue. 

No Show’s:

Non-cancellations or no shows will be charged up to 100% of the missed service.  If you do not notify us within 15 minutes after the start of your scheduled appointment that you are unable to make it then it will be considered a no show and you will be charged for up to 100% of the cost of the scheduled service(s)

Walk-In’s:

Walk in guests are always welcome! However due to the busy nature of our salon, there may be a waiting period for an appointment, or we may need to schedule an appointment for a future date. 

Cell Phones:  
We kindly ask that electronic devices such as cellular phones, tablets and gaming devices be put on silent or turned off while in the salon. This includes the use of speakerphone, FaceTime and/or any other turbulent noise as well. We kindly ask that you use headphones to respect other guests.

Children: 

For the comfort and relaxation of our guests, and for the safety of your children, we have asked for guests to please come alone to their service. If your child is receiving a service we welcome them, but please make alternate arrangements for your children during your service. All salon services on children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. This is to maintain our commitment to quality.

If you come to your appointment with your child and they are under 13 with no supervision, we will have to forfeit your appointment with a 50% service charge as well.

We cannot make exceptions to this rule, as it is not fair to the parents who have made arrangements for their children to abide by the rule in place.

We would love for you to relax as well! 

Open Chair Policy: 

The stylist / guest relationship is one that is both intimately personal and unique. At The Texture Room hair and body, we have an “Open Chair” Policy. What that means, is that we want to help you find just the right fit, and sometimes that takes a couple of “dates.” Each guest is a guest of our salon, not of any one specific stylist. So if you have your hair done, love the salon, but aren't feeling that connection with your stylist, we want you to feel free to sit in another chair and meet the stylist of your dreams! With so many talented individuals, we encourage you to try anyone, at any price point so that you can find the stylist that fits your needs!  

Our Guarantee and Return Policy: 

Your happiness is a priority at The Texture Room hair and body. If you are not entirely satisfied with your color or cutting service, please call and schedule a complimentary redo within seven days from your original service date. The redo policy does not cover a change in direction of your original requested style or color. No cash  refunds are permitted. We cannot guarantee the longevity of hair color without the use of Aveda shampoo and conditioner. Products (with the exception of makeup) can be exchanged for another product, but no cash refunds will be given. Credits and/or exchanges cannot be applied to services. All makeup sales are final and gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash. 

Gratuity: 

Gratuity is up to the discretion of each guest. The industry standard is 18%-20% of the service total prior to discounts or incentives. Cash gratuity is appreciated, though it may be added to a credit card for your convenience. Our team greatly appreciates your generosity.

We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Checks, Cash and

 Texture Room Gift Certificates.
